For the improvement of schools during the year 2002 to 2003 Bayport Blue Point School district pass the referendum of a dollar 35.5 million Bond across the district. By the year 2003-2004, the construction procedure begins for the improvement of schools and gets completed by 2006-2007.

In this improvement, there were a few things were included like a new front entrance brand-new auditorium renovation and expansion of the gymnasium, and 10 brand-new classrooms at Bayport Blue Point High School. In this bond, there was a Cafeteria and 6 classrooms were also included at Academy street.
